Latex Nail Trends? Weird & I Want It!

So as much as I feel a shift in color and cut during the summer, (going from the black skin-tight dresses and pants and sweater combos of the winter to the flouncy, floaty girly prints of the summer) there’s also an undeniable desire to change the texture! And yeah, for the most part that comes from the heat: speaking logically, when it’s super cold outside, we want those Matte Nailsitchy wools and sweaty knits so we stay warm in the frigid air! And the reverse in the summer: we want the light and airy fabric of a pretty paisley dress so if there isn’t a natural breeze, we can make our own. I love it!

But what about the makeup? Same thing applies, at least for me. We go from the slick and spicy brown eyeliner and peachy lips of the spring to the glossy, translucent glow and tan of the summertime. So effortless, or at least that’s the desired look: I dread putting on the heavy foundations in the summertime, and instead opt for a light blemish cover-stick and some loose powder, making my blemishes and makeup cover up unseen to the naked eye. Same deal, especially when we’re talking about texture: I dread the bulky and greasy eye-shadows and pens that make application of makeup so easy and slick during the spring and winter months, but those melt in the summertime! Instead I opt for some light and fresh powder shadows and a single slick of mascara.

Well here’s a new texture I am dying to try out: Orly nail polish, inspired by the fantastic ’80s latex and plastic looks on the runway, has decided to come out with a nail polish that looks and feels like rubber! We’re all a fan of the sexy matte nail polish in electrifying (yet muted and understated) colors this season in comparison with the glossy pinks and greys of the spring, but how do you feel about a matte that goes beyond look, to touch and feel? Playing with the texture on your nails is simple and unexpected, too, and won’t effect how cool and breezy you feel.

So this is the perfect trend to take a chance on. These vinyl-looking, pleather-feeling, texturized nail polishes are on my wish list: I’ll let you know the status report!

Boob Enhancement Possibilities

If you’re shopping to have Breast Enlargement surgery then you will have lots of selections to consider. 1st, you will must decide in the event you want to have a saline implant or silicone implant. Then you’ll have to think about the various placement options for that scar. Breast enlargement surgery will effect your life for any very long time, so you’ll need to think about your possibilities meticulously.

Silicone implants were the original choice for breast enlargement. They’re the most organic feeling and looking implant, as they are filled with silicone gel. However , there were security concerns about them, and they’ve had to become reinvented to become totally safe. They also need a large incision to insert than the alternative implant.

The other selection for boob augmentation is saline implants. These are far safer than silicone implants. Even though they leak, they’ll just leak salt into your body, not a chemical gel. They require a smaller incision, as they’re inserted as an empty shell and filled when they are inside the breast. Nonetheless they are susceptible to wrinkling and rippling, which don’t appear organic. To avoid these effects, they should be placed under the muscle in the breast.

After you decide which kind of implant you want, you want to select an incision location. The inframmatory incision is the sole incision obtainable to those wanting a silicone implant for their breast enhancement. It is created inside the crease under the breast, where the breast meets the chest. This location allows for a larger incision so as to fit a full silicone implant. This also suggests that there’ll be a larger and more tangible scar.

A periareolar incision is one that will only be used for your saline implants. It is a cut all around the edge from the nipple. For those looking for a lift as well as boob augmentation, that is a great option, as the inframmatory cut is not conducive to a lift. The implant shell will probably be inserted round the nipple and filled when it can be securely inside the breast. Because the cut will probably be approximately the edge of the nipple, there will be no visible scars.

The transaxillary incision is an additional incision that is the best to the saline implants. It can be produced inside armpit. Because the doctor must move the implants a good distance, there is the danger of asymmetry or misalignment, which do not look natural. Due to this danger, several doctors customarily use an endoscope in this breast enhancement procedure to know exactly where they are going.

The final selection for incision placement it the transumbillical incision. That is an incision produced around the edge on the belly button. The saline shells are moved up to the breast, assisted by an endoscope. Even with the endoscope, although, there is a larger threat for misalignment or asymmetry than with any other breast enlargement incision option. Some ladies like this since is may be combined with a tummy tuck. When the 2 surgeries are mixed, it is referred to as a transabdominoplasty incision.

Every option in breast enlargement surgery has a professional and a con. Consider each option carefully prior to you select how you want your surgery done. Discuss the difference between saline and silicone implants with your physician. Also discuss all of the locations to the incision. You want your breast augmentation to come out right.

Casual Looks for a Summer Barbeque

It’s the height of summer, and I still haven’t had that fantastic rock-out barbeque. I’m starting to feel faint: I need the feel of that juicy burger with barbeque sauce and onion rings drizzled on top, the perfect summer ales to complete the hard-core beef, and the festivities of frisbee games or a run into the crashing ocean to work off the calories. Ah, summer! There’s just nothing like it.

And there’s nothing like what a barbeque can do to your skin, either. You’ll get sticky from the heat, greasy from the burger, and bloated from the beer (ew –  a little graphic, but just saying!). You’ll feel sick from all the key lime pie you ate, and wake up with a headache in the morning if you aren’t careful.

So let’s talk basics: some basic tips and beauty products necessary to get you through a barbeque party and out the next morning, ready for your morning run or walk to get iced coffee.

TIP: Always drink water. I know you will feel so full from all the burgers and beer, but seriously: you are getting super dehydrated! And being dehydrated for an extended period of time makes you feel sick and nauseous, wake up with a headache, and have dull and tired skin. Prevent all this by filling up a reusable water bottle every hour and alternating sips of beer with drinks of water.

Beauty Product #1: waterproof mascara. There is going to be a lot of melting going on during a barbeque, and I’m not just talking about the cheese slathered on your burger. Your skin is going to feel so fried from standing close to the grill, or so greasy as you go from eating your burger to swiping your hair out of your face. Promise me: you don’t want to look like a melting raccoon too!

TIP: Keep your hands clean! Barbeques are messy and outdoors and that’s why I love them. But you’re mixing all sorts of germs into the pot! Bring along a small travel-size antibacterial cream so you don’t need to keep running inside, and bring enough to spare. Everyone will be grateful!

Beauty Product #2:
oil absorbing lotion or pads. Again, the whole skin thing: you’ll be melting under all this heat. I always have an extra pack or two to spare of these miracle pads during the summer, otherwise I feel like a grease ball!

TIP: Stay active and be merry! As much as I warn with all of the beauty products and hazards to your skin, barbeques are something to cherish. Surrounded by friends and family, glorious food and drink, and all in the heat of summer, nothing can feel better. So relax and enjoy!
